Makeup Brush Cleanser
Makeup brushes continuously collect bacteria. Just think of all the skin cells collected each time you use it and of the germs already in your makeup from each time you picked up your brushes. Unwashed brushes can have many undesired effects on your face. Cleaning your makeup brushes is a great way to ensure their longevity, keep your skin clear and free of breakouts, and your makeup to be applied smoothly and with ease. To make an all-natural brush cleaner you’ll need:
- 1-2 tbsp white vinegar
- 1-2 tbsp dish soap
- 2 tbsp sweetalmond or jojoba oil
Mix these ingredients together in a jar and use to clean all makeup brushes and stencils. Before use, shake well to combine. Massage the solution into the bristles by rolling the brush tip around or through your fingers. Rinse the brush afterward and wait for it to dry before the next use.
