Canna-syrup is great for those with a sweet-tooth. Use it to infuse candy, drinks, desserts, and other confectioneries. It involves a relatively simple process. You will need:
- Fine mesh strainer
- 3 cups of water
- 3 cups of granulated sugar
- 4 grams of coarsely ground cannabis
- 3 tablespoons vegetable glycerin
Once again, decarboxylate the cannabis (225 F for 30 to 45 minutes in the oven). In a saucepan, add the water and sugar and bring to a boil over medium heat. Add the decarboxylated cannabis to the boiling sugar water and simmer for 20 minutes. Add the glycerin and lower the heat. Simmer for another 8 minutes, the mixture will begin to thicken. Place the cheesecloth over the strainer and pour the syrup through the cheesecloth and strainer into a heat-safe bowl. Squeeze any remaining syrup into the bowl. Allow it to cool before use and keep stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks.
